ABOUT ZMAS

Our institute “Zen Martial Art School”, is well known for the training of -karate do. The school is established in year 2007 by Sensei Nilesh M Manohar. He is technical director & chief instructor of the school & practicing the art since 1989. He hold seventh DAN black belt from International SEISHINKAI karate union.

School operates have head quarter – HONBU DOJO at Roha in Raigad district of Maharashtra state in India. Since 1989 school has trained almost 1200 students. School is operating at various locations in India where 200 students are regularly trained.
School operating is well structure manner with highly qualified Black belt teachers with good teaching experience and a backup team of administration & coordination.
ZMAS teaches Japanese Karate Style which and is having International recognition of International Seishinkai Karatedo union.

Zen Martial Art School (ZMAS) follows oriental Japanese as well modern training methods for development of karateka.

Sensei Nilesh Manohar Started the journey of Karatedo in 80s.The dojo are conducted at Schools, grounds or community centers of the various institutes where number of karateka gathered for the training of the traditional art. Since beginning of the journey he always have dream of building up the dojo with modern concept but at the same time having tradition Japanese atmosphere.

Dream Comes true

Roha is the beautiful town geographically surrounded by green hills, mountain, river and a dam. Every season has uniqueness itself. Town have industrial hub. Due to which is good logistic support of road & Rail transportation. Chatrapati Shivajee Maharaj International Air Port is at a distance 3.00 hours from Roha. Roha stands a first & perfect choice for building up of the Honbudojo of Zen Martial Arts & International Seishinkai Karate Union.

Year 2014 with grace of god A dream project is started to build up the dojo at Roha and in 2016 construction dojo is completed. And every year some development is going on for the providing latest facility to students in terms of Equipment, area expansion or in way of administrative infrastructure. This development truly turning the dojo towards meeting international standards.

One of its greatest attributes is that anyone, irrespective of size, age or sex can practice the art according to his own capabilities or in spite of his handicaps. Our School Zen Martial Arts School India is well known for the training of Art of Karate Do. Our school is established in Year 1998 By Sensei Nilesh M Manohar. School has wonderful growth in terms of Quality, Strength & Infrastructure. We feel proud to inform you that school starts its First karate class in 1998 with Only Eight students & now more than 100 students are received Black Belt Diploma. Sensei Nilesh M Manohar is member of Dai Nippon Butoku Kai (DNBK) having head office in Kyuoto Japan. DNBK originally established in 1895 Kyoto Japan under the authority of the Japanese Government and the endorsement of His Majesty.

Kyoshi – 7th DEGREE BLACK BELT – The “Kyo” in Kyoshi means “professor” or “philosophy”. Therefore, Kyoshi equals a “professor” capable of teaching the philosophy of the martial arts. The title of Kyoshi is award Hanshi Robert Burgermeiser who is 9th degree Black Belt.

Professional journey – I started working with one of the educational Institutions Moving on to financial management and still with the same base for over 16 years.

I did complete my black belt on 27 Dec 2002 My current degree is second degree which was rewarded on 27 November 2021
